Frequently Asked Questions

You pick the apps you want to stop opening — like Instagram or TikTok. Caught then blocks those apps on your own phone during your focus time. If you choose to take a break and unlock an app, your partner gets a quick notification letting them know. That's it.
No. Caught only ever affects your own phone. Your partner's phone is completely separate — Caught has no access to it whatsoever. The only thing that crosses between phones is a simple notification when you choose to take a break.
Screen Time is Apple's built-in system for blocking apps on your iPhone. Caught uses it to put a shield on the apps you've chosen — so they can't be opened during your focus time. This only affects your own apps on your own phone, nothing else.
During setup, one of you creates a short invite code and shares it with the other. The second person enters the code in the app and you're connected. Both of you have to sign up and agree — nobody can be added without actively joining themselves.
Only the basics: your name, email address, whether you're connected to a partner, and your subscription status. Your app choices, browsing history, and usage details never leave your phone. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Try these steps:

1. Open Caught → Settings and make sure Screen Time permission is on.
2. Close the app fully and reopen it.
3. If it's still not working, email us at support@caught-app.com and we'll help you sort it out.
Check that notifications are turned on for Caught in your iPhone's Settings → Notifications → Caught. Also make sure your partner is still connected — you should see their name at the top of your feed. If everything looks fine but notifications still aren't coming through, try signing out and back in.
Go to your iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Caught → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. One subscription covers both you and your partner.
Open Caught → Settings → Delete Account. This removes everything — your account, your partner connection, and all your data. If you run into any trouble, just email support@caught-app.com and we'll take care of it.
